Natural Language Processing (NLP) Statistical Genetics Survey Methodology, Design, and Analysis Virtual Pooled Registry-Cancer Linkage System (VPR-CLS) Project SRP, in collaboration with the Healthcare Delivery Research Program (HDRP) supports research into population–based estimates and projections of the overall and site-specific cancer-attributable medical care costs in the United States. These national cancer-attributed medical care costs are substantial and projected to increase dramatically by 2030, due to population changes alone, reflecting the rising burden of cancer care among cancer survivors 1 . To support this research, a website is being developed to provide detailed updated data and projections on cancer-attributable cost estimates by cancer site, phase of care, and stage at diagnosis. The new website will use the most recent linkage of the NCI’s Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) -Medicare database. Estimates and projections based on the previous SEER-Medicare linkage are available in a recent publication 1 and on the Cancer Trends Progress Report website.
